Dear esteemed colleagues,

Please be informed that Operation "Devil Hunt" is being conducted across the country. In light of this, it is crucial for journalists to ensure safety and awareness while performing their professional duties. The following guidelines must be strictly followed:

  1. Press ID Card: Always carry your valid press ID card and display it visibly. If necessary, show the ID card to law enforcement agencies.

  2. Marked Vehicles: Ensure that the vehicle used for news gathering has the word "PRESS" clearly displayed. For night-time news gathering, make sure the "PRESS" sign is visible on the vehicle's headlights.

  3. Avoid Risky Areas: Avoid being in areas where law enforcement or military operations are taking place. Remain cautious when collecting news in conflict-prone or unsafe areas.

  4. Live Broadcasting or Photography: Before conducting live broadcasts or recording videos, obtain permission from the relevant authorities. Avoid taking pictures or videos in security zones or military-deployed areas.

  5. Proper Identification and Conduct: Maintain proper decorum and professionalism while gathering news. Follow the instructions of law enforcement agencies and avoid unnecessary arguments or confrontations.

  6. Emergency Contact: In case of any complex situation, contact your organization's office or representatives from national journalist organizations. In times of danger, inform nearby colleagues about your location.

  7. Personal Safety: Before heading out for journalistic work, inform a family member of your destination. If possible, avoid going alone during nighttime news gathering and consider taking a colleague with you.

Your safety is our top priority. Kindly follow these guidelines and stay safe
