In the last 24 hours, seven more people have died from dengue fever, with 1,211 new hospitalizations recorded from Monday morning (November 11) to the following day. This data was released in a press briefing on Tuesday (November 12) by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the newly admitted patients, 702 are receiving treatment at various hospitals in Dhaka, while 509 have been admitted to hospitals outside the capital.

Since the start of this year, dengue has claimed 367 lives, with men comprising 49.3% and women 50.7% of the fatalities. Additionally, from January 1 to November 12, a total of 74,800 dengue cases have been reported across Bangladesh, with 63.1% of the patients being male and 36.9% female, according to the DGHS data.
