Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been working from a secure bunker for nearly a month following a Hezbollah drone attack on his Caesarea residence along Israel’s Mediterranean coast, as reported by Channel 12 and relayed by the Times of Israel. The drone incident on October 19 prompted Netanyahu to relocate to a fortified bunker, where he has been conducting his official duties. Due to the security situation, he has also postponed his son Avner’s wedding.

In a related development, Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi has authorized an expansion of Israel's ground operations in southern Lebanon. On November 10, Middle East Eye reported that the Israeli defense minister, Israel Katz, declared that Israel had defeated Hezbollah. Shortly afterward, Halevi granted approval for the army to intensify its ground assault in Lebanon.
