The 10th death anniversary of Arafat Rahman Koko, the late son of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, was observed by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) through various programs, including Quran recitation, prayers, the laying of floral tributes, and the distribution of winter clothing and food. Koko, a prominent sports organizer, passed away in Malaysia on January 24, 2015, due to a heart attack.
On Friday (January 24), BNP leaders and activists gathered at Banani Cemetery in Dhaka, where they held Quran recitation, offered prayers, and paid floral tributes at Koko’s grave. The BNP also took the opportunity to organize charity activities, including the distribution of winter clothing in the Pallabi area by the BNP’s Pallabi Thana unit, and the distribution of food among the underprivileged and orphans by the youth wing. These acts of charity were part of the ongoing efforts by BNP to pay tribute to the legacy of Arafat Rahman Koko and his commitment to the people.
