The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced the schedule for the 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). Following the player auction, which concluded earlier, the final tournament schedule was released in a video message on Wednesday evening. This season’s BPL will kick off on December 30 with the opening match between reigning champions Fortune Barishal and Rajshahi Warriors.
On the same day, Rangpur Riders will face Dhaka Capitals. Day matches are scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM, with evening matches set for 6:30 PM. However, on Fridays, the day matches will start at 2 PM, and the evening matches at 7 PM.
The seven-team BPL tournament will be held across three venues: Dhaka, Sylhet, and Chattogram. The league will open in Dhaka, after which teams will travel to Sylhet and later to Chattogram. The group stage will begin with the first eight matches in Mirpur, followed by 12 matches in Sylhet, and 12 more in Chattogram. The tournament will conclude in Dhaka, where the final will be held on February 7.
