In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is operating a special flight to demonstrate solidarity with women’s equality, empowerment, and the elimination of violence and discrimination. The flight, scheduled for March 8, will feature an all-women crew, including both cockpit and cabin staff.
The special flight, BG 388 on the Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka route, will be led by Captain Anita and First Officer Tasnuva. Alongside the two female cockpit crew members, five female cabin crew will also be on board.
In a press release issued on Friday (March 7), signed by Bosra Islam, Senior Manager of Biman’s Public Relations Department, the national flag carrier emphasized its commitment to promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment. The initiative aims to honor the contributions of women and advocate for a world free from violence and discrimination against them.
This special flight underscores Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ dedication to supporting women’s rights and celebrating their achievements in all spheres of life.
