BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has stated that the 31-point state reform proposal by BNP will align with the party's upcoming reform suggestions. He shared this at a seminar titled "BNP's 31-Point State Reform Proposal and Citizen Concerns," held today at the Lakeshore Hotel in Banani, Dhaka.
Speaking at the event, Mirza Fakhrul noted that BNP had introduced the reform proposal on July 13, 2023—almost two years ago. The purpose of today’s seminar was to reintroduce these ideas and gain further insight from participants. He emphasized that the proposal was developed not solely by BNP but through a collaborative process with allies involved in the joint movement.
He affirmed that the upcoming proposals would align with the original 31 points, as they were created to drive national progress and development. “This reform agenda stems from the vision of moving the nation forward,” Fakhrul stated.
BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman participated in the seminar virtually, while the session was moderated by Shama Obaid and Farzana Sharmin Putul.
