A group of demonstrators gathered at Dhanmondi 32, where the house of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was demolished, and arranged for a communal feast. In preparation for the event, a cow was brought to the site.

On Thursday (February 6) afternoon, a dark-colored cow was seen tied up at the location. A piece of paper with the words "Killer Hasina" was taped onto the animal. The crowd present at the scene chanted slogans against Sheikh Hasina.

One of the organizers stated that the cow was purchased from Mohammadpur Beribadh. He also mentioned that it would be slaughtered at Dhanmondi 32 in the evening.

When asked about the message behind this act, he responded that their statement was clear: there would be no remnants of the Awami League in the country. He further asserted that there was no place for fascism in Bangladesh.

On Wednesday (February 5) at around 7:30 PM, agitated students and demonstrators gathered at Dhanmondi 32 in response to the announced "Bulldozer March" campaign on Facebook. Around 10 PM, the house was set on fire. By 11 PM, a crane was brought to the site, and at approximately 11:15 PM, attempts were made to demolish the structure. When initial efforts proved ineffective, an excavator was brought in.

Earlier that evening, at approximately 8 PM, protesters marched into the premises of the house. The event took place against the backdrop of rising tensions following an online speech by Sheikh Hasina, who was reportedly in India at the time. The situation escalated rapidly, leading to the execution of the planned protest actions.
