A violent clash broke out between students of Dhaka College and City College in Dhaka's Science Lab area on Wednesday afternoon, following the vandalism of a bus. At least four students from both colleges were injured in the altercation, which brought traffic in the area to a standstill.
The clash began shortly after 3 PM when, according to eyewitnesses, a group of Dhaka College students vandalized a bus in the area. In response, students from City College confronted them, leading to a heated confrontation. The situation quickly escalated, causing widespread tension and forcing vehicles to stop moving through the busy Science Lab intersection.
Police were deployed to the scene to restore order, and members of the military were also seen assisting in controlling the situation. Law enforcement remains on-site to prevent further incidents as the area remains tense.
