The Public Administration Reform Commission has finalized its report, which includes more than 100 recommendations for reforming the country's administrative system. Commission Chairman Abdul Muid Chowdhury confirmed that the report will be officially submitted to the Chief Advisor on Wednesday (February 5) at 12:30 PM.
Speaking to journalists at the Secretariat on Tuesday (February 4), Abdul Muid Chowdhury explained that the report was initially scheduled for submission last month. However, the commission required additional time to conduct fieldwork, engage with the public, and gather opinions from various districts and sub-districts, as well as through online consultations. Based on these findings, the report was finalized and signed today, paving the way for its formal submission to the Chief Advisor’s office tomorrow.
The chairman emphasized that the commission has compiled over 100 recommendations but refrained from disclosing specific details at this stage. "I cannot provide further details beyond confirming the number of recommendations included in the report," he stated.
Additionally, the Law Commission is also set to submit its report on the same day. The concurrent submission of both reports marks a significant step in administrative and legal reforms.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, mentioned that after submission, the report will be made available on the government’s website. He assured that transparency would be maintained in the process, allowing the public to access the findings and recommendations once they are officially published.
