The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has reported a gradual decline in both daytime and nighttime temperatures across the country. Light to moderate fog is expected in some areas during the early morning hours.
In its latest bulletin, the weather office indicated that from Wednesday morning (November 20) to Thursday morning, the country will experience mostly dry weather with partly cloudy skies. However, isolated light rain or drizzles may occur in parts of the Chattogram division.
Meteorologist Kazi Jebunnesa noted that the chill in the air is more pronounced at night, particularly in rural areas, where cooler conditions persist from evening to early morning. In Dhaka, nights feel cooler, but daytime temperatures remain relatively high.
“Tomorrow, Thursday, there’s a chance of light rain or drizzles in a few places within Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Light to moderate fog may form in various parts of the country early in the morning,” she added.
Jebunnesa also mentioned the possibility of another low-pressure area forming in the Bay of Bengal early next week.
According to the Meteorological Department, the lowest temperature recorded this morning was 15°C in Tetulia, while Dhaka’s temperature stood at 19°C. Yesterday, the country’s highest temperature was 32.5°C.
