The Dhaka University (DU) first-year undergraduate admission test for the Science unit for the 2024-25 academic year has been rescheduled due to the upcoming Bishwa Ijtema. Initially set for February 1, the Science unit exam will now be held on February 15. The decision was taken at a meeting of the General Admission Committee, confirmed by Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, the convener of the Online Admission Committee.

According to the revised schedule, admission tests will proceed as follows:

  • IBA Unit: January 3
  • Fine Arts Unit (General Knowledge and Drawing): January 4
  • Arts, Law, and Social Sciences Unit: January 25
  • Business Studies Unit: February 8
  • Science Unit: February 15

The committee agreed unanimously to change the date for the Science unit exam, as confirmed by Dr. Rahman, with other unit exam schedules remaining unchanged.

The online application process began on November 4 at 12:01 PM and will continue until November 25 at 11:59 PM. The application fee for each unit is set at BDT 1,050, except for the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) unit, which requires a fee of BDT 1,500. Applicants can pay the fees via Sonali, Janata, Agrani, or Rupali bank branches, or online using debit/credit cards and mobile financial services.
