In a tragic incident in Dhaka’s Pallabi area, a father allegedly killed his two young sons by slitting their throats before attempting to take his own life. The father, identified as Md. Ahad (40), has been hospitalized at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after being rescued by police.
The victims, Rohan (7) and Musa (3), were found dead in their home in Baigartek, Pallabi.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Majedul of Pallabi Police Station confirmed the incident on Saturday afternoon. “We received information in the morning about two children being killed in a home in Baigartek. Their father attempted to end his life by slitting his throat. Police rescued him and sent him to the hospital,” he said.
Police are currently at the scene, and investigations are ongoing to uncover the motives and circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event. Further details will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
