Despite being overcome with grief, Rupam paid tribute to his former bandmate during a live performance. On stage, Rupam addressed the audience, saying, "As we were on our way here, we received this devastating news. It hit us like a bolt of lightning. In such moments, it feels impossible to perform or even touch an instrument. But here we are, facing the audience for whom we began this journey together. Chandramauli was a significant part of that journey. I could never imagine this band performing without him. He was not just a bandmate but one of my closest friends."
