Former National Board of Revenue (NBR) member Motiur Rahman and his wife, former Upazila Chairman Laila Kaniz, have been arrested in connection with the widely-discussed "Goat Incident."
A team from the Detective Branch (DB) of the police apprehended the duo in the Vatara area of Dhaka late Tuesday night, January 14. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Media Division, Muhammad Talebur Rahman, confirmed the arrests.
