The government has extended the term of five reform commissions by one month. These commissions are responsible for reforms in health, labor, women, local government, and media. According to a separate notification from the Cabinet Division, the new deadline for these commissions to complete their work is April 30.
Of these, the Media Reform Commission has already submitted its report to the government, while the Local Government Reform Commission has submitted an executive summary. The remaining three commissions have yet to submit their reports. These commissions were originally scheduled to complete their work by the end of March, but now their deadlines have been extended.
Previously, reports from six other reform commissions, including those on the Constitution, Judiciary, Electoral System, Public Administration, Police, and Anti-Corruption, have already been submitted.
