The Press Wing of the Chief Adviser has clarified that reports claiming the cancellation of the Independence Day parade on March 26 are incorrect. While the parade will not be held in Dhaka this year due to ongoing renovation work at the National Stadium, it will be organized with due dignity in the remaining 63 districts across the country. The interim government has also decided to honor the brave freedom fighters during these events.
The Press Wing further stated that necessary instructions have been issued to all district administrations to ensure proper arrangements for the parades and ceremonies.
