BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has departed for the Armed Forces Day program at Senakunja, located in Dhaka Cantonment.
On Thursday (November 21), at 3:30 PM, Khaleda Zia left her Gulshan residence, Firoza, to attend the ceremony. The information was confirmed by BNP Chairperson's Press Wing official, Shamsuddin Didar.
This marks Khaleda Zia’s return to the Armed Forces Day ceremony at Senakunja after a 12-year gap; her last attendance was in 2012.
Earlier, in honor of Armed Forces Day, Khaleda Zia, BNP Acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman, and 26 other party leaders were invited to the event. The invitation letter was received on Tuesday afternoon at the BNP Chairperson’s office by her personal secretary, ABM Abdus Sattar.
