Khulna, February 25 – Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) has announced the indefinite suspension of all academic activities due to security concerns. The university administration has ordered all students to vacate residential halls by 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26. The decision was taken during the 99th emergency syndicate meeting held on Tuesday.
In a press release issued on Tuesday evening, KUET’s Public Relations Officer, Shaheduzzaman Sheikh, stated that the university has taken this measure to ensure the overall safety of its students. Until further notice, all residential halls of the university will remain closed.
Additionally, students have been directed to leave their respective halls within the stipulated deadline. The university has also confirmed that all academic activities will remain suspended until further notice.
