Police Suspect Loss of Control Led to Fatal Accident Near Nikunja-1 Flyover
A man named Ali Asad (48), a resident of Shah Ali area in Mirpur, died after falling from a moving motorcycle in Dhaka’s busy Khilkhet area. The accident occurred around 1 PM on Saturday (November 9) on the slope of the flyover near Nikunja-1.
According to preliminary police findings, Ali Asad likely lost control of the motorcycle, causing him to fall onto the road. Khilkhet Police Station's Inspector (Investigation), Ashiqur Rahman, confirmed the incident and indicated that Asad’s death may have been caused by a collision with another vehicle. Asad’s body has been sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The police are currently taking necessary legal steps regarding the incident.
