The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted a possible drop in nighttime temperatures across the country, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain steady.

In the 24-hour weather forecast issued at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, the department reported that the weather is likely to remain predominantly dry, with partly cloudy skies in some areas. Light to moderate fog may occur in various parts of the country from late night to early morning.

For Wednesday, January 15, the weather is expected to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate fog may develop in parts of the country during the late-night hours and continue into the morning. Nighttime temperatures may decrease slightly, while daytime temperatures are anticipated to remain unchanged.

Similarly, the forecast for Thursday, January 16, indicates dry weather with partly cloudy skies throughout the country. Light to moderate fog is likely in some regions from late night to early morning, with both night and day temperatures expected to stay nearly unchanged.

On Monday, the highest temperature recorded in the country was 30.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf, while the lowest temperature was 9.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia. In Dhaka, wind speeds ranged from 6 to 12 kilometers per hour, blowing from the north and northwest.

The meteorological predictions suggest that while the days will retain their current warmth, nights across the country may gradually become cooler.
