Dhaka, February 2 – Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sent a letter to BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, expressing concern over her health and extending his best wishes for her recovery. The matter was confirmed by BNP’s media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan on Sunday night.

In the letter dated January 31, Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his deep concern upon learning about Khaleda Zia’s health issues. He expressed his sincere wishes for her well-being, stating that he hopes for her swift recovery and good health.

“I was deeply concerned to learn about your health issues,” the letter read. “I wish you strength and a quick recovery. May the Almighty protect you from all illnesses and grant you good health.”

The Pakistani Prime Minister also acknowledged Khaleda Zia’s significant contributions to Bangladesh’s political landscape, referring to her as a remarkable figure in the country’s political history. He highlighted her unwavering dedication to public service and noted that her commitment has been an inspiration to many.

“You have been a towering personality in Bangladesh’s political arena,” Shehbaz Sharif wrote. “Your steadfast dedication to serving the people has been a source of inspiration for many.”

The letter comes at a time when Khaleda Zia, a three-time former Prime Minister of Bangladesh, is undergoing medical treatment. Her health condition has been a matter of concern for her supporters and political followers.

Shehbaz Sharif’s message of goodwill reflects Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach and recognition of Khaleda Zia’s role in shaping Bangladesh’s political sphere. The communication from the Pakistani leader is being viewed as a significant gesture amid ongoing political developments in Bangladesh.

BNP leaders and supporters have expressed their appreciation for the message, interpreting it as a sign of international concern for Khaleda Zia’s health and recognition of her political journey.
