The passing out parade for the 40th BCS (Police) batch Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) at the Bangladesh Police Academy has been postponed once again.
The event, originally scheduled for November 24 in Sardah, Rajshahi, will no longer take place on that date. Additionally, the passing out parade for the 40th batch of Cadet Sub-Inspectors (SIs), set for November 26, has also been delayed.
Assistant Police Commissioner Enamul Haque Sagar, spokesperson for the Police Headquarters, confirmed the news to BBC Bangla. He stated, "The passing out parade for ASPs has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. Similarly, the Cadet SIs’ parade, which was scheduled close to the ASP event, has also been delayed for the same reasons."
He added that new dates for both events will be announced soon.
This is not the first time the ASPs' parade has faced delays. The event was initially planned for October 20 but was postponed at the last minute, with November 24 set as the revised date. However, it has now been postponed again.
