Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer for the northern region of the National Citizens Party, emphasized the importance of internal unity over rivalry during an iftar gathering organized by the Panchagarh Municipality unit of the BNP. Speaking at the event held on Saturday, he stated that when individuals or factions within a political landscape choose to become adversaries rather than healthy competitors, the damage is not only internal but also affects the broader interests of regions like Panchagarh.
He remarked that Panchagarh remains one of the underdeveloped districts in the country, and progress will only come through collective effort. He urged everyone present to work together, setting aside differences, to uplift the district and bring meaningful change for its people.
The iftar gathering took place at the open stage of the Panchagarh Government Auditorium premises and was presided over by Touhidul Islam, convener of the municipal BNP. The event brought together various political figures and representatives from different parties.
