The incident occurred at 4 AM on Saturday, January 4, at Green City’s building number 9, flat 42, where she had been residing with her husband. Ksenia worked for the contractor company SMU-1 at the Rupur Power Plant. According to the police, she was found unconscious on the ground below the building. Medical personnel from the residential area declared her dead upon arrival.
Following the discovery, the local police were notified, and senior officers including Additional Superintendent of Police (Ishwardi Circle) Bipul Kumar Goswami, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station Shahidul Islam, and Nayen Kumar, the in-charge of Rupur Police Outpost, visited the scene for investigation.
Shahidul Islam, the officer-in-charge of Ishwardi Police Station, stated that the woman’s body was recovered, and an initial inspection was carried out. The body was sent to Pabna General Hospital for an autopsy. He further mentioned that there could have been a dispute between the husband and wife that might have led to the incident, though the true cause of death will be determined once the autopsy report is available.
