Speed Wins Best Brand Award for the Seventh Consecutive Year

Speed, one of Bangladesh's most popular beverage brands, has secured the prestigious "Best Brand Award 2024" for the seventh consecutive year. The brand achieved this honor in the "CSD Alternative" category, continuing its streak of dominance.

The award was presented at a grand ceremony organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF), the country's largest community of brand practitioners, at the InterContinental Hotel in Dhaka. Representatives from Speed’s parent company, Akij Food & Beverage Ltd., were present to accept the accolade. The delegation included Director of Operations Syed Zahurul Alam (Ruman), Head of Marketing Maidul Islam, General Manager of Sales Rezaul Karim, Senior Brand Manager S.M. Mehedi-Al-Siraji (Shiblu), and other officials.

Since its inception, Speed has gained immense popularity among consumers due to its unique taste and innovative marketing strategies. Over the years, the brand has achieved remarkable growth and now holds more than 70% market share in its category, securing its leadership position.

Expressing gratitude for this achievement, Maidul Islam, Head of Marketing at Akij Food & Beverage Ltd., emphasized the support and loyalty of consumers, sellers, distributors, and all stakeholders. He remarked that Speed’s consistent success as the only beverage brand to win the Best Brand Award for seven consecutive years reflects the deep connection the brand has with its consumers.
