Medical assistance has been provided to Md. Anwarul Azim and Suman Howladar, who were injured during the July-August student-laborer uprising in Dhaka. On Monday (January 20), the treatment was arranged under the directive of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. The medical services were administered by senior doctors from the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), including renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Shah Muhammad Aman Ullah.
Present during the treatment initiative were Mokhsedul Momin Mithun, Member Secretary of "Amra BNP Poribar," and Moshiur Rahman Mohan, Joint Secretary of the Private University Chhatra Dal, among others.
Anwarul Azim sustained injuries on August 4 during a protest in Rampura, while driver Suman Howladar was wounded by law enforcement gunfire during another demonstration on July 19 in the same area. Both had been receiving treatment at various hospitals in the capital following their injuries.
As part of this initiative, special medical services were provided on behalf of Tarique Rahman. The injured were also assured of further advanced medical care if required. This gesture underscores BNP’s commitment to supporting those affected during the recent uprising.
