BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman called for the party's 31-point program to be disseminated to rural and remote areas to foster public awareness and trust. He emphasized the importance of convincing the general public that these initiatives are designed for their benefit, urging people to give the party the opportunity to serve. Rahman made these remarks while addressing a workshop on the program organized by Narayanganj Metropolitan BNP on Wednesday, December 18. He joined the event virtually as the chief guest.

The workshop was held at the Hosiery Association Auditorium in Missionpara, Narayanganj. It was attended by leaders from Narayanganj Metropolitan BNP and various affiliated organizations from different regions of the city. The discussion revolved around the effective dissemination and execution of the 31-point program, which the BNP believes will resonate with the public and restore their confidence in the party.

In his speech, Tarique Rahman underlined that the party's goals extend beyond merely winning elections. He refuted claims that his focus is limited to electoral victories, asserting that as a political organization, discussions about elections are inevitable. However, he noted that the public seeks more than promises. Rahman stressed the importance of delivering tangible outcomes, stating that voters want to know what a party can achieve once in power. He urged party members to prioritize accountability and transparency, reassuring citizens that the BNP is committed to implementing its program if elected.

Rahman further pointed out that the upcoming election is not just a political battle but a test of the party’s credibility. He encouraged leaders and activists to build trust among the public by actively engaging with them and addressing their concerns. According to him, maintaining public trust is essential not only for electoral success but also for the party's long-term reputation. He cautioned against any actions that could tarnish the party’s image and instructed members to remain committed to the BNP's vision and principles.

Addressing the importance of fulfilling promises, Rahman stated that the party must demonstrate its capabilities to the public before the subsequent election cycle. Although it may not be possible to accomplish everything on the agenda, he emphasized the significance of showcasing progress and achievements to gain public trust. He highlighted that voters would evaluate the party based on its ability to deliver results and urged leaders to focus on practical solutions that resonate with the masses.

The workshop was moderated by BNP Central Executive Committee member Abdus Sattar Patowary. Other prominent attendees included BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member Ismail Jabihullah, BNP’s Dhaka Divisional Organizing Secretary Nazrul Islam Azad, “We Are BNP Family” Central Committee Convener Atikur Rahman Rumman, Narayanganj Metropolitan BNP Convener Advocate Sakhawat Hossain Khan, and Member Secretary Advocate Abu Al Yusuf Khan Tipu.

The event concluded with a pledge from BNP leaders and activists to work collectively to promote the party’s agenda and rebuild public confidence. They expressed their commitment to ensuring that the 31-point program reaches every corner of the country, emphasizing that it reflects the party’s dedication to national development and the welfare of its citizens.
