Under the direction of Tarique Rahman, Acting Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and chief patron of "We Are BNP Family," the organization will distribute Eid gifts among the families of missing, killed, and injured party activists, as it has done in previous years. Additionally, Eid gifts will also be provided to the families of those who were martyred or injured during the 24th mass uprising.

The organization will assist in distributing Eid gifts from Tarique Rahman to the families of BNP activists who have been victims of enforced disappearances, killings, and injuries at the hands of law enforcement agencies and the fascist Awami League's rogue forces across the country. The list of recipients for these Eid gifts is currently being updated.

Regarding the Eid gift initiative, Atiqur Rahman Raman, Convener of "We Are BNP Family," stated that the process of updating the list of recipients has already begun. Under the guidance of Tarique Rahman, Eid greetings and gifts will be delivered to the homes of all missing, killed, and injured activists, as well as those who were martyred or injured during the recent 24th mass uprising.

Mokshedul Momin Mithun, Member Secretary of the organization, added that every year, under the direction of Tarique Rahman, Eid gifts are delivered to the families of BNP activists who have been victims of enforced disappearances, killings, and disabilities caused by the oppressive actions of the fascist Hasina government. Leaders of BNP's associated organizations provide full support in this effort. For the past nine years, Eid gifts have been distributed consistently, and this year will be no exception. In fact, the number of recipients is expected to increase.

Since 2016, under Tarique Rahman's directive, Eid gifts have been distributed at the beginning of Ramadan to the families of those who have been victims of enforced disappearances, killings, and disabilities. Last year, Eid gifts were delivered to nearly 1,200 families. This year, the number is expected to rise significantly, potentially reaching 1,700 to 1,800 families.

The initiative aims to bring some joy and solidarity to the families of BNP activists who have suffered due to political violence and oppression. By distributing Eid gifts, "We Are BNP Family" seeks to honor the sacrifices of those who have been martyred, injured, or gone missing while standing up for their political beliefs. The organization hopes to continue this tradition of support and compassion, ensuring that the families of victims are not forgotten during the festive season.
