Three Students Killed in Attack at Mollah College: Authorities Claim

The administration of Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College has reported the tragic death of three students in a brutal attack on the campus. The authorities stated that the incident was carried out by a group of outsiders who, under the banner of the so-called Seven Colleges students, launched a violent assault on the college premises. The attack left three students dead and more than a hundred students and faculty members injured, some critically. Several of the injured individuals are currently receiving intensive care.

According to the college administration, the attackers were not students but rather individuals associated with terrorist activities, who entered the college with the intention to destabilize the institution. The authorities claimed that some of the attackers were affiliated with Shahid Suhrawardy College and National Medical College. The attackers not only caused widespread destruction but also looted personal belongings of students, valuable documents, and assets belonging to the college. They also damaged several rooms within the college building, including the principal’s office.

In a statement issued on Monday, the college expressed profound grief and outrage over the incident. The administration emphasized that despite multiple requests for assistance from local and higher-level authorities, no substantial actions had been taken to address the situation. As a result, the safety and learning environment of the college have been severely compromised.
