The Chittagong University (CU) unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has organized a new member recruitment program on the university campus. The campaign began on Wednesday (March 5) at 10 a.m., with a booth set up at the university's Zero Point intersection under the initiative of the CU unit of Chhatra Dal.
Following the directives of the central committee, the CU unit leaders launched the membership drive, which is expected to continue for several days. The program was led by Sazzad Hossain Hridoy, the organizational secretary of the CU unit. Among those present were CU Chhatra Dal President Alauddin Mohsin and Senior Joint Secretary Md. Yasin, along with other activists.
Sazzad Hossain Hridoy stated, "Chhatra Dal is one of the largest organizations in the country fighting for students' rights. Since its inception, the organization has been working tirelessly to build a safe and fair campus environment, making significant sacrifices along the way."
The recruitment drive aims to expand the organization's base and reinforce its commitment to advocating for students' welfare and a balanced academic atmosphere at Chittagong University.
