The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has reported 10 more deaths due to dengue in the 24-hour period from 8:00 AM Friday to 8:00 AM Saturday (November 23). During this time, 886 new dengue cases were registered, with many requiring hospitalization.
According to the DGHS Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room, the regions with the highest number of new hospital admissions include Barishal Division (144), Chattogram Division (69), Dhaka Division outside the city corporation (121), Dhaka North City Corporation (206), and Dhaka South City Corporation (167).
Additionally, 93 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals across the country within the same 24-hour period. So far, a total of 81,456 patients have been discharged this year.
