BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed profound sorrow over the death of the young child who was a victim of assault in Magura. In a condolence message today, he prayed for the departed soul and extended his sympathies to the grieving family.
Mirza Fakhrul stated that the brutality inflicted upon the innocent child by a group of inhumane perpetrators was beyond words. He lamented how the young girl fought for her life on a hospital bed, carrying the wounds of this heinous crime, before ultimately succumbing to her injuries. He emphasized that the pain and shame inflicted upon society by this tragedy were indescribable.
The BNP leader called for exemplary punishment for the culprits to ensure that such inhumane crimes do not recur.
It is noteworthy that the child passed away this afternoon while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka. Despite the application of advanced medical procedures and the relentless efforts of specialized doctors, her life could not be saved. She suffered three cardiac arrests this morning, and while she was stabilized twice, her heartbeat failed to return after the third episode.
